It's sunset. As the forrest and it’s creatures doze, a chrysalis opens.  Transparent figures can be glimpsed behind the trunks and in the bushes. The laughter of a woman fills the air that is otherwise silent. A city begins to blush waiting for the night. A phone call is added to the distant sounds of people, cars. It is a conversation between a man and a woman talking about the his birthday. She begs him to be punctual for their date that night. They hang up. Her sweetness suggests they are a couple. She wanders through the city as if waiting for something. She is pensive, sad, worried, and walks aimlessly. A crowded street emphasizes her solitude. In a bar, the tenderness of two lovers reminds of her what she lost. A park holds pleasant memories. She is alone in a city that after the first few hours of the evening is as deserted as her mood. He is in a cozy hotel room in the company of another woman. Talking, laughter and glances are accompanied by a bottle of wine. Time passes, the woman is naked in bed asleep, he is thoughtful, sad, worried. He seems to be waiting for something, just like the woman wandering the city. Both are waiting for midnight. In an abandoned warehouse, three beautiful women wear makeup and dress as if they were preparing to go on stage, as if they were in the dressing room of a theater. They are the same creatures from the beginning of the story. They are the Villis. Their gestures are jerky. The echo of the room multiplies the sound of beating wings. The imperceptible hiss reminiscent of the winged creatures: butterflies. The lonely girl reaches the shed. She is welcomed by the villi, in their makeup and  costumes. Their gestures are slow as in a ritual. The girl is very elegant as if she were attending a theatrical premiere. The man enters. The shed is dark, filled only by subtle noises like insects. A beam of light coming from the ceiling invades the darkness. The villi slowly encircle him, playing with him as a puppet. The revolving and whirling dance seizes him, and he, helpless, is forced to dance. Suddenly a tissue encircles him, the villi spinning around him until they cover his entire body. He now looks like a large chrysalis. From the death of a traitor, a new life is born for the lineage of the Villis.
