E' una ragazza dall'animo gentile, all'apparenza fragile, innocua, incapace di fare del male, allo stesso tempo però, il dolore la porta a prendere una decisione estremamente radicale. Non si rende conto della gravità della scelta presa, sino al momento in cui le conseguenze d'essa si sviluppano davanti ai suoi occhi. In questo istante Anna rimane incapace di reagire, come entrata in uno stato di torpore che permane sino all'alba successiva, sino alla fine della storia, senza lasciare la possibilità di capire il suo stato d'animo reale: pentimento, rabbia, rancore, dolore . . . ?

E' più grande di qualche anno rispetto ad Anna. La ama ma allo stesso tempo non può fare a meno dell'amante, verso cui non ha però un particolare interesse. Questa figura serve a Davide ad allentare la catena che lo lega ad Anna, lasciandogli così la possibilità di essere un'altro, la possibilità del cambiamento, di avere una doppia vita. Davide si pente del continuo tradimento, nonostante ciò, non riesce a smettere. Questo è un personaggio bipolare: con l'amante intraprendente ed affascinante, con Anna moderato e affettuoso.
